The 2024 California TBF Junior State Championship was held on Lake McClure. The weather was beautiful and the fish were biting making for a fun tournament. Relatively easy to get a limit but tough to get the big ones described the day.
Junior Angler Team Drake Wilson and Wyatt Gilstrap Of Oakdale won the event with a 5 fish limit for 10.08 lbs. with a big fish of 3.35 lbs.
2nd Place were Chance Ravalin and Russel Whitehead of Oakdale with 9.19 lbs.
3rd Place were Brayden Merrill and Noah Warthan with 6.68 lbs.
