Thank you Larry Wilson

All,

Larry Wilson has been associated with the California Bass Federation for over 30 years.  He started in the Federation back in Oklahoma in 1980.  When he moved to California in the 80s, he hooked up with Sal Gervasi and Gary Bradford when the California Federation was formed.  He has served as the Tournament Director for the San Diego region as well as a past Vice President and President.  He has ran the San Diego youth program for many years as well.  The kids really care about Larry and was truly shown when they raised over $7000 to repair Larry’s boat/motor when it broke down earlier this year.
Everyone who has ever known Larry has never said a bad thing and know him as a kind person who cares about his friends and family.  He is a dedicated family man who loves to fish.  He has fished all over CA and has fished nearly every California TOC except for only a few.  After Larry’s wife passed last year (over 30+ years of marriage), Larry, decided he was going to move back to where he is from…Oklahoma and then to Florida in the near future.
On behalf of the California Bass Federation, I want to thank Larry Willson for all is dedicated support of the California Bass Federation.  Thank you for you commitment to the community and the kids.  Thank you for your friendship and I hope we are able to stay in touch.
When I talked to Larry today, he said to me…”thank you and please thank everyone in the California Bass Federation.  God bless to everyone…”
Larry, as you make your travels back home…god bless you and your family…and tight lines!
Scott Sweet
